Job Summary/Basic Function

The primary responsibility of this position is to assist the Culinary Manager in providing culinary supervision, training, and menu and recipe development in all areas of Dining Services. Assist in daily food preparation, production, and presentation.

Minimum Qualifications

Formal culinary training or equivalent experience and demonstrated continuing education;

A minimum of 4-6 years supervisory experience

3-5 years high volume food production experience;

Valid Driver’s license and insurable driving record;

Experience with food production forecasting;

ServSafe certificate or similar food safety course certificate, or pass ServSafe exam within the first year of employment.

Preferred Qualifications

ACF (American Culinary Federation) certification;

Knowledge of computerized menu management systems.
